Nutritional Guidelines

For reporting purposes and especially label printing, nutritional guidelines must be used.  Optimum Control contains two guides by default, the USDA and Canada Food Guide.  Custom guidelines can be created as you may work in a nursing home or in an environment where you have specific guidelines.

To add a guideline

1. Choose Nutrition|Guidelines from the upper menu
2. Click Add
3. Indicate a Description for the guideline
4. Choose whether active or inactive
5. Indicate the required amounts for each nutrient
6. Click Save

This guideline will now be ready for nutrition reporting
